Fozia Khan moved from Pakistan and was raised in Queens, New York. She graduated from New York City College of Technology. Fozia is married to Arshad Khan and is currently living in Armonk, Westchester with their children Saif and Ayesha . She is the present president of American Muslim Women’s Association(AMWA). Fozia reaches out to the communities in order to build bridges among interfaith groups and organizations. She also gives lectures in the Public Schools and teaches at the Sunday Islamic School in Stamford, CT. Since 2006, she is serving as the treasure of the White Plains Interfaith Council. She is an active volunteer of the Ecumenical Food Pantry, American Red Cross in White Plains and North Castle Citizen Corps Council (NC4) in Armonk. Fozia completed a chair side assisted course at The Ninth District Dental Association in Hawthorne, NY and is current working as a Dental Assistance for Guerrino dentistry in Scarsdale. In addition, she has been honored an award from Church Women United in White Plains in 2004 and YWCA’s Salute to Women & Racial Justice in 2008
